Senior Project Manager Food Industry (m/f/d)

Full-time / permanent

Your tasks include:

• Developing and implementing product and innovation projects from initial idea to successful market launch
• Identifying and evaluating market, food and consumer trends and deriving new product and concept ideas
• Further developing and managing a structured innovation process, including evaluation, piloting and implementation
• Developing economically viable innovation concepts, taking into account customer benefit, operational feasibility and margin targets
• Coordinating pilot projects and cross-site roll-outs, with continuous optimisation based on data and feedback
• Working closely with Marketing, Purchasing and Supply Chain to ensure scalable and successfully implementable innovations
• Developing business cases and monitoring the performance of new products and initiatives
• Fostering a culture of innovation through workshops, idea exchange and cross-functional collaboration

What you bring:

• A degree in Food Technology, Nutrition Science or a comparable qualification
• At least 7 years of professional experience in project management, product development or innovation management within the food industry
• Ideally, experience in a B2B environment, e.g. with ingredient, spice or food manufacturers
• Proven experience in delivering projects from initial idea to market launch
• Experience in designing and managing innovation and product development processesExcellent project management and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to translate market and consumer trends into concrete, actionable concepts
• Commercial understanding of margins, supply chain and operational requirements in the food sector
• A structured, delivery-focused personality with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for food
• Willingness to travel within the group, including project-based stays of 1-2 weeks at our sites in Austria and the UK
• Excellent German and English skills
