Das ist der Job
At Taama, we're building the operating system for global product compliance.
Darum lohnt es sich
You’ll work closely with our founders, product team, and engineers to translate regulatory expertise into software that helps compliance teams work more efficiently. You're excited to work closely with a small founding team, helping turn years of regulatory experience into a consistent system that can support compliance teams around the world.
Regulatory compliance for food and supplement brands still relies heavily on manual review, spreadsheets, and slow processes. As companies expand into more markets and regulations continue to evolve, that approach is becoming increasingly slow, expensive, and difficult to scale.
We're turning compliance into reliable infrastructure that can be built upon. Not by replacing the judgment of regulatory professionals, but by helping them apply the expertise they've built over years of experience faster, more consistently, and with greater transparency across every market a product touches.
We're a fast-moving, Singapore-based startup backed by Iterative Capital, already building across regulatory frameworks in North America, Europe, APAC, and more — with beauty, personal care, and pet food next on our roadmap. This is early-stage, high-ownership work: the systems we build now will define how compliance works for years to come.
THE ROLE We're looking for an experienced regulatory professional to join us in a flexible capacity, either full time or part time depending on fit. Your work will include: • Building regulatory intelligence.
Reviewing legislation, guidance documents, regulatory databases, and internal decision logic to help translate regulatory requirements into structured rules that our platform can apply consistently. In many ways, you’ll be helping capture the same regulatory judgment you already carry in your head. • Validating compliance assessments.
Reviewing our platform's outputs against real products, validating ingredient classifications, claims, label requirements, and documentation requirements across jurisdictions. You’ll identify edge cases, misclassifications, and gaps before they reach customers.
Human expertise always remains part of the process. • Defining what "correct" looks like. As we expand into new markets and product categories, you’ll help establish the regulatory standards and review processes that underpin the platform. Rather than simply checking our work, you’ll help shape how compliance is assessed.
No AI or technical background is required. We're looking for deep regulatory expertise. We'll take care of the engineering. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 5+ years of regulatory affairs or product compliance experience. You've personally reviewed a significant number of food, beverage, and/or supplement products for regulatory compliance.
You also bring deep understanding of how regulations are interpreted, enforced and audited.
Experience across the product lifecycle, including several of the following: • Product classification (food vs. supplement vs. therapeutic product) • Ingredient and formulation assessment (permissibility, limits, novel ingredients) • Claims review (nutrition, health, and marketing/advertising claims) • Label and artwork review (mandatory statements, formatting, compliance) • Regulatory documentation (technical files, dossiers, registrations, submissions) Multi market experience.
You've worked directly with regulations in at least two of the following regions: North America, EU/UK, Australia & New Zealand, or APAC. Experience across three or more regions would be a strong advantage. A builder's mindset. You're comfortable building regulatory rulebooks and decision frameworks from scratch, not just applying existing ones.
WHY TAAMA • A genuinely collaborative, low-ego working environment. • The opportunity to have outsized influence on a product that's still being shaped. • Work directly alongside founders with experience at Nestlé, Dole, Fonterra, and DSM. • Help define what the next generation of regulatory compliance looks like by augmenting regulatory professionals, not replacing them.
