Remote Food & Beverage Director

About the Role

Our client is a leading hospitality management group seeking an experienced and visionary Remote Food & Beverage Director to oversee and elevate the culinary and beverage programs across multiple properties. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to leverage your expertise from anywhere. You will be responsible for strategic planning, menu development, operational efficiency, financial performance, and maintaining the highest quality standards for all F&B outlets. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of current F&B trends, a proven track record in multi-unit F&B management, and exceptional leadership skills. You will work closely with on-site F&B Managers, chefs, and corporate teams to drive innovation, optimize profitability, and ensure outstanding guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive F&B strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives and brand positioning.
• Oversee menu engineering, development, and costing for all food and beverage outlets.
• Drive operational excellence, ensuring efficiency, quality, and consistency across all F&B operations.
• Manage departmental budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability of F&B outlets.
• Lead, mentor, and develop F&B management teams and culinary staff across various locations.
• Establish and maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, service, and hygiene.
• Monitor industry trends, guest preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation.
• Implement effective inventory management and cost control measures.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations.
• Collaborate with marketing teams on promotional activities and F&B-related campaigns.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Food & Beverage management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing multiple outlets or units.
• Proven success in driving profitability and operational efficiency in diverse F&B environments.
• Extensive knowledge of current culinary and beverage trends, mixology, and restaurant operations.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with menu costing, inventory control systems, and F&B POS systems.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and lead remote teams successfully.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced culinary qualifications are a plus.
