Production Supervisor - Seafood Processing

We are seeking a proactive and hands‑on Production Supervisor to oversee our frozen soft shell crab processing operations. In this role, you will be actively involved on the processing floor, ensuring strict compliance with hygiene and food safety standards, training and managing operators, maintaining accurate inventory counts, and overseeing cold store operations. You will also participate in recruitment and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Key responsibilities

Directly participate in daily seafood processing operations (cleaning, grading, freezing, and packing soft shell crabs)

Enforce and maintain strict personal hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards across the processing line

Deliver practical training to seafood processing operators on proper seafood processing procedures, hygienic practices, and operational standards

Supervise daily floor activities to ensure full adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols

Identify operational bottlenecks and collaborate with management to refine, update, and optimize processing SOPs

Participate in the candidate selection, interviewing, and onboarding process for new seafood processing operators

Manage line allocations, shift scheduling, and team discipline to ensure daily production targets are met

Conduct regular physical stock takes of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished frozen goods

Oversee cold store inventory management, enforcing First-In, First-Out (FIFO) stock rotation, temperature monitoring, and organized cold room storage

Reconcile physical inventory against records and report any discrepancies or quality issues immediately

About you

Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory experience in seafood processing, frozen food manufacturing, or perishable food operations

Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP standards, and cold chain inventory handling

Strongly hands‑on; willing to work directly on the processing line alongside operators in a wet/cold processing environment

Proficient in conducting physical inventory counts, record‑keeping, and operator performance assessment

Diploma or SPM/STPM with equivalent practical industry experience in food technology, aquaculture, or manufacturing management

Language Requirement: Working proficiency in English.
